I do not like them Sam I Am!”
But, carob, now that’s another story! I found this wonderful carob bark recipe and I have really been enjoying it. Though it doesn’t quite taste like chocolate, it is enough of a sweet that it deters me from endulging. Carob only has 3.5g of fat and 70 calories per serving which makes it better on the hips than it’s chocolate counterpart. “You do not like them. So you say. Try them! Try them! And you may.”
1 bag (10 oz) Vegan Carob Chips (I use Vegan because they are not made with milk products)
2 heaping spoons full all natural peanut butter
1/4 – 1/2 cup chopped raw almonds
Melt chips over low heat. Add peanut butter and almonds. Stir. Pour onto parchment paper covered cookie sheet and put in refrigerator to harden. Break into small pieces and enjoy! Refrigerate any leftovers.
